Reddit images depict the devil-human hybrids pretending to be best buddies while taking in the sights of D-mop outlets and McDonald’s. They are joined by cosplayers who are dressed as other characters from the show such as Aki and Makima, complete with their iconic topknot and yellow contacts as well as yellow contacts. Jasozi wrote in the blog post that the majority of Chainsaw Man’s outfit was constructed from PVC pipes, as well as other objects, and the head has a blade that can be detached with a tiny speaker to play that famous chainsaw roar.

Chainsaw Man’s popularity resulted in many cosplays. Jasozi is joined by countless artists who have shown their love for the show by reincarnating the characters of the show. Cavin Creations’ grueling Chainsaw Man cosplay featured three fully functional blades. Low-Cost Cosplay also exhibited his cheeky Pochita appearance which caught the attention of Shihei Lin (editor of Chainsaw Man).

Chainsaw Man centers on anti-hero Denji, who receives the heart of his Chainsaw Devil dog Pochita after his deceased father’s mafia debt leaves him dead in a dumpster. Denji, who now can change into Chainsaw Man, tries to maintain a normal life as he hunts devils for Japan’s Public Safety division. It’s not as easy as expected when devils and devil hunters such as Katana Man seek the Chainsaw Devil’s heart which puts Denji in the danger zone.

The debut season of Chainsaw Man is available to stream on Crunchyroll. VIZ Media distributes the manga in North America.
